First time to Beta Park?

If this is your first visit to Beta Park, don't worry!! We’ve got you!!

We don’t require you to book as we don’t run sessions - day passes are for the entire day! Climb all day or come and go as you please!! On your arrival just talk to our lovely desk staff and they will guide you through the process.

On the day you will:

  • Create a profile and sign our facility waiver - We do require anyone who is climbing to sign a waiver. If you are 18+ you can sign your own waiver. Anyone under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Waivers can be signed in the gym or online by clicking the button below.

  • Pay entry - Please note we only have eftpos facilities and do not accept cash payments. See our prices in the FAQs below.

  • Pop on your climbing shoes - If you don’t have your own, our staff can fit you with some of our hire shoes for $5.

  • Do a quick safety induction - Our staff will guide you through our safety rules and how bouldering works. This takes about 15 minutes so please factor this into your plans.

  • Get climbing!! Remember to follow all gym rules and listen to staff at all times! Everyone’s safety is our priority!

FAQs

  • No, there is no age limit, however we do require anyone who is climbing to follow safety instructions, wear climbing shoes and complete a short safety induction. This means they must be able to listen to and understand all rules and support their own weight without assistance. Customers under 1.2 meters tall may find it hard to reach between holds.

    We encourage anyone who is unsure of whether bouldering is a suitable activity to come along to the gym, check it out in person and chat to our staff.

    All children under 13 years old must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

    We have a strict supervision ratio of 1 adult for every 2 children.

    Multi 10 Pass Inc Shoe Hire - Adult $247 / Student $229.

    7 Day Pass - $52 (7 continuous days from purchase).

    Ongoing Weekly Membership - $32 per week,

    Shoe Hire $5 / Chalk Hire $5.

    Any supervisors or spectators are free, provided they do not climb or use the gym facilities/showers. If supervisors do want to climb, the rate above applies.

  • We do require everyone climbing to wear climbing specific shoes. These can be hire in the gym for just $5.

    We stock a large number of sizes from a Kids US Size 8 (EU 24) all the way up to an Adult US Size 16 (EU 51).

    We also sell a range of shoes from Scarpa and Unparallel.

  • Yes, we have a cafe in gym which offers a range of pizzas, toasted sandwiches, hot and cold beverages.

    Feel free to bring your own light snacks along for your climbing session. We also have free filtered water onsite.

  • We don’t offer any birthday services, however feel free to celebrate your birthday with us. Check out the main page for group booking information.

  • No - We are a bouldering gym which means there are no ropes, instead we have large mats at the bottoms of the walls which are specifically designed for climbing safety.

  • Yes, we have a fully equipped training area with all the leading climbing, strength, recovery and cardio equipment.

    If you are under the age of 15 you cannot use the training area or weight lifting zone.

  • Whatever you feel comfortable in! We suggest clothing that is flexible and easy to move in. We do not suggest skirts, dresses or anything too revealing. Wearing a shirt at all times is mandatory.

    Belts and other accessories can be uncomfortable to land on - less is best.

    We do require everyone climbing to wear climbing specific shoes. These can be hire in the gym for just $5.
